We begin in the tradition of the first American paper mills by recycling textile scraps and non-agricultural residues, using only non-wood fibers to produce our truly unique papers while sparing trees. Green Field Paper Company offers three proprietary lines of innovative recycled papers that integrate post-consumer pulp with non-traditional additives such as seeds, hemp, coffee chaff, denim, junk mail, and garlic skins! Each paper is infused with beauty and sustainability and has a tactile character that is truly distinctive. All of our eco-friendly paper is made in the USA and we do not use any dyes or bleach in our paper.

Grow-a-Note®

Grow-a-Note® seed embedded paper is our signature paper for which we are known for throughout the world and is utilized by former United States Presidents, celebrities, charitable organizations, businesses etc. It is handcrafted in our San Diego facility by skilled artisans. Each handmade sheet is created by combining 100% post-consumer pulp with non-invasive, non GMO seeds. The paper is colored using natural earth pigments, no dyes or bleaches are used. There is a variety of seeds and colors to choose from which include the original wildflower blend and many different herbs & vegetables. The paper can be planted in the ground and it will grow into a flourishing plant!

Hemp Heritage®

Hemp Heritage® premium quality paper is comprised of 25% hemp and 75% post-consumer pulp. No dyes or bleaches are used and the natural color of the paper is complemented by tiny flecks representing the hemp fibers giving the paper an organic look. The paper is chlorine free, acid free and archival quality. Hemp Heritage is available in 4 weights, 60# & 80# text and 70# & 110# cover. The historical hemp plant holds great promise as a renewable tree-free source of fiber which can help stop the radical destruction of the earth’s remaining forests. The hemp paper is made in the United States at a mill powered by hydroelectric saving millions of barrels of fossil fuels.

PaperEvolution™

PaperEvolution™ handmade papers are created one sheet at a time by combining normally disregarded items such as garlic skins, coffee beans, old denim jeans, hemp textile scraps and junk mail with post- consumer pulp. The result is an extraordinary paper that is rich in texture and flair. Green Field Paper is proud to join forces and support organizations that need to upcycle their surplus alternative fibers in the form of outdated uniforms and textile scraps.
